Anaya Cross

The "Anaya" cross is a monument built by an Italian misssion, arranged and requested by the Father Juan Demichelis.

Taking into account the location of the little town just in front of the Anaya river, this was a threat for people because it was about to overflow and flood the municipality, people asked for the building of this monument. It was blessed and this cross will protect the town from the river. Due to this, the cross was built in iron and has about 2,5 meters in height. The "Anaya" cross is strongly affixed to the concrete ground.
