Mambe Ritual

The "Mambe" ritual is celebrated during the sessions at the "Maloca" with the tobacco already prepared. The harmonious and sacred union between "coca" and tobacco, allows a great openness and intellectual clarity in those people who run these sessions based on traditional education, and also allows a greater concentration by those who attend these sessions. The "Mambe" also is used frequently during the daily working hours, fishing or in agriculture works. "Coca is sacred, is typical of our culture, is not for business, it is for our traditional use" (words of the native governor of "Huitotos" tribe).
