Cambray pasty - Morelia
The Cambray pasty, sweet "empanadas" typical dessert from Morelia town, these delicious empanadas are craved by the "Caquetenses". The ingredients are: ground cheese, milk, yucca starch, guava paste, butter, chopped cheese and salt.
Preparation: Mix the ground cheese, the yucca starch, the butter and salt. This mixture then is soaked in milk and forming every pasty, putting in the middle a portion of guava paste. Then, take the pasties to the oven for around 15 minutes.
